MISSION STATEMENT

Our Booster Club is a non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion and supplementary financial support of the Smithson Valley High School (SVHS) Silver Spurs Varsity Dance Team and the Silverados Junior Varsity Dance Team

We invite all Smithson Valley Dance Families to attend our booster club meetings!

What is a Booster Club?

Booster Clubs are created by parents to provide support for school programs.

Is membership required in order for my child to benefit for the Booster Club?

Parents are strongly encouraged but not required to be members of the SilverSpurs & Silverados Booster Club (SSBC) for their Dancer to participate in SSBC activities. The proceeds from fundraisers or other activities held by SSBC are almost entirely for the benefit of the students involved in Smithson Valley High School Drill Team programs.  

Is the Booster Club owned by the school district?

SSBC operates autonomously of SVHS and Comal ISD as a separate legal organization even though we exist solely to support the SVHS Drill Team programs. SSBC is considered a “business” and a separate legal entity apart from the school district, in the state of Texas, we are not considered government entity.

How do I join?

Membership is available to all legal parents/guardians’ students in the SilverSpurs or Silverados.
